Moved to Fort Collins about a year ago and haven't had a cleaning since moving. Initially went to BrightNow on College Ave for an exam and to just be established as a new patient. Dr Herring told me I needed an extensive cleaning, and that I had seven cavities that all needed top caps. They were going to bill my insurance thousands of dollars, and make me pay $1200 out of pocket. Went to Rich at Boardwalk Dental for a second opinion before starting that treatment plan. Rich couldn't find a single cavity! Also informed me that the type of cavities BrightNow was claiming shouldn't even be treated with top caps. So BrightNow was trying to scam me out of money with dental procedures I didn't need. Will not be returning there. On the other hand, Rich and the rest of the team at Boardwalk Dental were fantastic, communicative, honest, and trustworthy. I'll be returning there soon for a standard cleaning -- all I should've needed all along!!

Love the staff and so gentle cleaning teeth I also have the kindest dentist always stressful for me to go and he makes me calmer.
The service provided was fine. However, pricing for those services isn’t competitive. The doctor’s few minutes spent checking the hygienist’s work was twice the cost I’m accustomed to paying. Other services were higher, as well. But, as I said, the service provided was fine, just out of my budget.
Everyone in this office is so kind and competent. I am so glad our whole family made the switch!

This office is awesome. Not only is this the least painful dentist I’ve been to but the staff are the best. My hygienist Kelly is so sweet and does an amazing job. Dr. Wuerker is so personable and I always feel cared for coming in here.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Dr Wuerker is! I have been going to him for 11 years and have anxiety very bad and he always calms me down and makes me feel right at home in his care! He has been great with my children as well, they won’t go to anyone else but him! He is also very reasonable on cost which I appreciate! If you are looking for a new dentist he is the one to call! We have been going to Boardwalk Dental for 25 years. Both dentists are wonderful, warm, friendly, and reassuring. The entire staff are the same way. My hygienist, Luke, rocks. He is very thorough. Just went in for two fillings. Barely felt the needle and the drilling was quick. Angel did a fantastic job filling and making sure the fillings fit properly and weren't too high.

Even as an adult I am always afraid when I go to the dentist. The staff are incredible and always put me at ease. Dr. Wuerker’s technique for numbing your tooth is amazing. I never feel the injection. I have been with Boardwalk Dental for over 20 years and they take good care of their patients.

I broke a tooth off in my 20’s and had multiple caps and fillers over the years that never looked right, Dr. Rich and the team helped me decide on doing full crowns for my front 4 teeth and the quality, color everything is so natural! They actually advised me on how to not go “unrealistically” perfect and white and I couldn’t be happier. I met a dentist last week that was astounded these were crowns and she’s a pro, that inspired me to come back and write this even though I got my work done 11 years ago! I’m still grateful every time I look in the mirror. Not only do i recommend them, but a new smile can change your life. Definitely changed mine. Thanks again

Fantastic experience! Start to finish everything went so smooth. The staff are all amazing! Great communication about upcoming apts. my teeth feel so clean! They explained what was being done and let me know how everything looked as they went. I will be back without fail!

My appointment went very well. Stephanie was very professional and friendly. We had a great chat about our interest in sports. She worked gently and efficiently. She gave advice for home care as well. I really liked her for my first time meeting her. I hope I see her each time I get my cleaning done.

I’ve received over 20 years of exceptional dental care here. From regular cleanings to complex restorative work, and most recently, the pleasure of correcting my bite, and my smile with invisible Sure Smiles. Dr. Wuerker, Dr. Green and the whole dental team are phenomenal.
Cleaning was performed quickly and thoroughly. xrays weren't required so took just over half an hour.

Boardwalk Dental has been my exclusive dentist for about 6 years now. I have referred several friends and family because boardwalk dental meets my high standards and even higher expectations. I recently had my biannual cleaning and the hygienist Luke Rel did a phenomenal job. I have hypersensitive teeth and like most people I get anxiety from the thought of visiting the Dentist office. I am happy to announce that I did not experience any pain or anxiety and my teeth are squeaky clean. May be one of the best teeth cleaning experiences of my line. I highly recommend that you give boardwalk dental a call to schedule your cleaning, I also recommend you ask to be scheduled with Luke Rel if he is available, but if he isn’t then anyone else will take good care of you as well.

From the time I walked in the door it was a great experience. Front desk answered insurance question, hygienist was very good, and Dr. Wuerker is awesome! On my last visit I talked with Dr. Wuerker about the sleep/snore mouth piece and he was great about explaining the whole process to me. It seems to be working and my wife is happy too!

I have been happy with the care I have received over the years from Boardwalk Dental. However, an appointment I had last year was cancelled, apparently because they did not have enough hygienists on staff. The next available appointment was four months out. I don't know the reasons why they didn't have enough hygienists to cover appointments that were made months earlier, so I don't want to be unjustly critical, but from a customer point of view, this was frustrating. My most recent appointment was successfully completed, so it seems they have resolved their problems with hygienists. I saw a new hygienist, who did a good job. Dr. Green did my dental exam and answered my main question before I had the chance to ask it. I will continue to patronize Boardwalk Dental.

Recently I had severe pain with my tooth. Dr Wuerker was able to get within hours and diagnosis the problem amd come up with a solution for relief. Great experience, as usual. Although only a cleaning and exam, I was treated as a special patient. Thanks to the x-rays, which were due, we found a small cavity that would never have been seen otherwise because it was right along the edge or a crown. This is an excellent dental office with professional staff.

It was my first visit to Boardwalk after my last dentist retired. I was greater with a warm smile right when I walked in. The office was clean and comfortable. They were prompt in starting my cleaning and left me feeling great about my teary! The dentist checked things out and went over the overall health of my teatj and gums with an informative and encouraging way. I highly recommend the team here at Boardwalk!!!
I have been a patient at Boardwalk Dental since it was at the previous location on Drake Road many years ago. Both Dr Wuerker and Dr Green are kind and professional. I have had many different hygienists over the years, but they have all been good at their job and my teeth always feel clean and healthy after my cleaning appointment. I will happily continue to be a patient at Boardwalk dental.

I was in for a cleaning and fillings, first I got a call saying I could be there at my convenience, so I went a little earlier, which worked well for me. Then we talked fillings. I was shocked and elated when Dr. Green said the kind they were doing on me did not require shots! I started going to Boardwalk Dental when I moved here in 2017. Dr. Wuerker D.D.S., in particular, whom I've seen the most, and Dr. Green D.D.S. have done great work with my aging teeth. The support staff, administrative and dental assistants, are always kind and generous with their time. Would highly recommend them.

This is Elaine Roberts I saw Katie on Thursday I can’t believe I have not seen her before she was wonderful, very outgoing talkative and made me feel very comfortable. In the past it was a good visit but not much Interaction. She was just full of energy and someone you wanted to be around.

I moved to this area a year ago and I was referred to this dental office from a relative who's a patient of Dr. Green's. I've been very happy with my dental care and I like that they offer Invasalign without having to go to an orthodontist. I just finished my treatment and I happy with the way my teeth look. I highly recommend coming to Boardwalk Dental. It's great!!

I’ve always had difficulty with anxiety and dentists to the point of having panic during appointments. I was very impressed with Rich (Dr. Wuerker) in his ability to show compassion and make me feel comfortable while I had some cavities filled. Feeling heard is so important in medicine, and the staff at the office I talked to was helpful as well. I’d recommend him to anyone, especially nervous patients!

I love boardwalk dental! The office staff is always so nice and help me reschedule my appointments quickly. The hygienists are all great especially Dawn and Jody. I’ve seen both dentists and they both seem very knowledgeable. Plus they always have nice travel size toothpaste to give me.

As the world's biggest dental-phobic, I feel that when I say my dentist exceeds the five stars it should count for ten! Dr. Wuerker and his staff are kind, prompt, caring and professional. The office is spotlessly clean. The billing department has been great about checking what my insurance will cover before procedures and the front desk has been responsive when I've had emergencies. Dr. Green isn't even my usual dentist and he came in on a weekend to fix a chipped tooth when I had a wedding to go to! If you're looking for an office that will treat you like a friend, this is it!

My appointment was a little unusual. I am diabetic and my sugars were dropping way to low. My hygienist, Dawn, was so kind. She got me Coke to bring sugars up. I think I’ve been a patient for about 10 years. I really appreciate the efficiency and professionalism of the entire operation. I never have to wait more than a few minutes after I arrive. I can count on being in and out for a regular cleaning/X-rays in less than an hour. The hygienists are all excellent - detailed, friendly and a gentle touch. Docs Green and Wuerker are great. Ive had one incident where I needed immediate work done and they found a way to fit me in asap. Thanks for the work you do.

I’ve been a patient for years. I have never had a bad experience. In fact it has always been a good experience. The staff is efficient and professional the billing fair and efficient. But mostly Dr Rich Werker is exceptional. I would never trust anyone but him with my teeth. And his assistant Angel is the best.

We have been going to Dr. Wuerker for over 20 years and have nothing but good things to say. The staff remembers my name, is very courteous and I never wait long. I am an admitted 'fearful patient' and the gentleness and respect I receive is sometimes accompanied by good-natured laughter. Our whole family aees sees these doctors and we are ALL highly satisfied.

I've lived all over the country, and this is the best dental office I've ever been to. The entire staff is friendly and courteous. The desk staff will process your insurance claim for you. Erin the hygienist is excellent, the dental assistants are excellent, and Drs. Green and Wuerker are both friendly, cordial, relaxed, and cutting edge professionals. I've had fillings, crowns, and extraction work at Boardwalk, and the quality of the work has always exceeded my expectations. I no longer have anxiety about going to the dentist. I would highly recommend Boardwalk Dental. I have recently begun Invisalign treatment for my crazy snaggle teeth. I have been told in the past by Orthodontists that I would not be a good candidate for Invisalign and would need traditional braces. After taking impressions of my teeth, Dr. Green was able to show me a digital model of my teeth and how they would straighten out over the next 15 months. I have had clear braces for 4 months now and WOW, what a difference! I love my visits to the office to pick up my new trays every other week - I can't wait to have the straight smile I have always dreamed of . The staff is always very friendly and professional, and the Dr.'s are fantastic at what they do!
***PLEASE READ*** I did like this dentist office however I feel like i have been very cheated. I have been coming here for almost 2 years and was told they "took my insurance" but I just finished paying a 1,000 bill because its actually out of network and no on told me. So they didn't lie, they will take it but its not in their network. They have been using a very selective vocabulary and i just thought that i needed a lot of work done because i had put the dentist off for a few years. Well, one thing i can say is i will not be so naive when i find a new dentist. I just feel like this is a very shady business practice. Also makes me feel like i have been taken advantage of because i trusted their advice on what i needed done but i question it all now. Lastly, more than once my quotes came back reasonable but months later i would get large bills. I just went with it because i figured they knew best and i didnt have the time or energy to fight them on it. Just beware, they dont really call your insurance for quotes- they just use a book they put together themselves for a "base price" but it has nothing to do with your personal insurance.
Dr Wuerker has been my dentist since 1998. I would not go to another dentist unless he retires. He and everyone I have had contact with, in his staff, has been all I could ask for. He is a competent, fair and compassionate man. This is one place my partner, who has dementia, does not complain about when needing to go for dental work. I respect his opinions and appreciate deeply the way he and all his people have taken care of us over the years.

Finally found a good dental office to get my teeth cleaned. Jo, the hygienist was excellent. Very professional. She worked quickly, efficiently and was very thorough. She actually educated me on flossing and mouth care as opposed to just telling me to do it. Good place to go and centrally located. The TV's in the rooms could use some updating though.

I have been a patient in the past, but needed to visit another dentist office because of financial matters. Long story short, it was NOT worth switching! After a terrible experience I went back to Dr. Wuerker for help. I felt so bad that he had to fix what I paid someone else to do. Even though it took 2 visits to fix the problem, he kept a smile the whole time, and encouraged me to not hesitate if I needed another visit. Boardwalk Dental rocks!
My wife and I both have always had a great experience with everyone at Boardwalk Dental. Julie is our hygienist and we couldn't ask for a more pleasant and knowledgeable person to work on our teeth. Dr. Green has done some minor work on a filling for me right after a problem was discovered during my cleaning, and he took care of it immediately after my cleaning. Painless, quick, and efficient. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for caring dental professionals.
My wife and I have gone here for years, and have always had a great experience. There are a couple reviews that talk about a rude and disorganized staff, which, from our experience, couldn't be further from the truth. Sure, they get busy/backed up from time to time (just as any successful medical/dental office), but they're extremely efficient at getting us in and out quickly!
Everything about Boardwalk Dental was fabulous! From the initial phone call, to scheduling my appointment, and getting my teeth cleaned. Marcia took great care of me during my cleaning. She took her time and showed me how to improve my brushing and flossing techniques. She was very gentle but got the job done with minimal discomfort! Then Dr. Green came over to look at my teeth. He was very friendly and funny! I wish other dentists I have had in the past were so easy to get along with. Unfortunately he told me I would need a couple crowns on my teeth that have huge fillings that were placed during my military days. I knew this was coming so I was glad I have good insurance that the office was helpful in getting everything set up to help me pay off these needs. I will definitely be referring all my friends to Dr. Green and everyone at Boardwalk Dental!
